Sylvia is a nationally recognized presenter and skilled, engaging education program facilitator for both small and large audiences. She is energetic, motivating, and loves to provide audiences an interactive experience in her programs. She makes liberal use of visuals and training tools and provides handouts for participant notes and reference. Her speaking programs combines her avocation and passion for motorcycles with life-balance principles.
Ms. Henderson's corporate experience includes IBM, Loral Federal Systems, Lockheed-Martin, America Online, and American Management Systems (AMS).
Sylvia is a writer and published author on communication, leadership, professionalism, motivation, and motorcycle-related topics. She has been featured in and written for magazines and newspapers and interviewed as the featured guest on radio programs.
Ms. Henderson is a volunteer trainer for and life member of the Girl Scout organization at both local council and national levels. She also participates as a walker and crew member for breast cancer research and education in the Washington DC. area.
Ms. Henderson holds an Education degree from Cheyney University of PA. and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Pittsburgh, PA.
Her professional affiliations include Toastmasters International (ATM-level speaker), the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), and acceptance as a professional member to the National Speakers' Association (NSA).
